In short
Dudhsagar Falls is one of India's tallest waterfalls, a four-tiered cascade on the Goa–Karnataka border inside Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.
'Dudhsagar' means 'sea of milk' — after the monsoon the water thunders down the cliffs in white sheets beside a railway bridge. Visits are by jeep safari through the sanctuary from Mollem, usually combined with a spice plantation lunch.
Good to know
- Most spectacular just after the monsoon (October–December)
- Swimming in the pool at the base with life jackets
- Our full-day tour includes jeep safari, entry, spice farm lunch and Old Goa churches
